QUEEN CREEK, AZ - BYU-Hawaii sophomore forward Emily Mearns (San Ramon, CA/California) led the Seasiders to a 3-1 week to earn the Pacific West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week honor.

The award was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Queen Creek, AZ, on Monday, Sept. 29, for games played from Sept. 22-28.

Mearns scored three times and amassed four assists for a 10-point week in leading the Seasiders. She also had a pair of game-winning goals.

Pac West Honor Roll

Natasha Aiono - BYU-Hawaii (So., M, 5-2, South Jordan, UT/Bingham)...posted six points on three goals over four games for the Seasiders last week...led the Seasiders to a 3-1 mark, including a 2-1 PacWest record.

Kaylen Jackson - Grand Canyon (Jr., M/F, 5-3, Tucson, AZ/Amphitheater)... scored three goals and totaled six points for the Antelopes over two games...scored the game-winner vs. Chaminade on Sept. 25.

Adele Letro - Hawai'i Hilo (Sr., F, 5-8, Davis, CA/Davis)...led the Vulcans to a 2-0-0 week by scoring three goals...scored big goal vs. Mesa State on Sept. 26...tallied twice with game-winner on Sept. 27 vs. HPU.

Jamie Lindstrom - Chaminade (Fr., 5-4, Woodinville, WA/Woodinville)...scored all three goals recorded by Chaminade in the Silverswords' three-game PacWest road trip to the Mainland...finished the week with six points despite an 0-3 week for her team.

Erika Mouritsen - Dixie State (So., F, 5-9, Wellsville, UT/Mountain Crest)...led Dixie State to a 2-0 week with a trio of goals...finished the week with six points.

Becky Ploeger - BYU-Hawaii (So., GK, 5-5, Broomfield, CO/Standley Lake)... recorded a 3-0-0 week in net for the Seasiders with one shutout - a 2-0 victory over PacWest rival NDNU...allowed four goals in 322:57 for a 1.11 goals against average...registered 11 saves

Angela Russell - Grand Canyon (Jr., M, 5-6, Phoenix, AZ/Greenway)...scored once and added a pair of assists in a 1-1 week for the Antelopes.

Alyssa Salvador - Hawai'i Hilo (Fr., F/M, 5-7, Encondido, CA/Orange Glen)... scored twice in two games for the Vulcans as UHH posted a 2-0-0 week...scored game-winner vs. Mesa State on Sept. 26.

Sarah Welty - BYU-Hawaii (So., F, 5-3, Elverta, CA/Center)...scored a pair of goals in four games for the Seasiders last week...finished the stretch of games with four points.

Mikala Wilkes - Dixie State (Jr., M, 5-8, Cedar Hills, UT/Lone Peak)...posted five points in two games for Dixie State in a 2-0-0 week...scored twice, including a game-winner...added an assist.
