San Francisco, CA- The Swords took on the Urban Knights at Crocker Amazon Park today and fell 3-0.
It was 0-0 through forty-five minutes as Chaminade battled Academy of Art, but Carmela Doerr scored the game-winner for AAU in the 55th minute and tacked on another in the 77th for the Urban Knights. AAU added another goal in the 83rd minute for the 3-0 final.
Chaminade took 4 shots (3 on goal) to Academy of Art's 30 shots.
Marissa Minor (Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena) stopped 7 shots for CUH. Ayasha Abut (Aiea, HI /Moanalua) had a shot on goal for the Swords.
With the loss, the Swords move to (0-9, 0-6). Academy of Art moves to (1-10-2, 1-5-2) with their first victory of the year. Chaminade is back in action on the road on October 14th against NDNU. The game is set for 1:30 PM PT.
