Honolulu, HI- The Swords took on the Penguins of Dominican today in a Pac West conference match-up and 2-0. Dominican got the game winner in the 1st minute from Mary Wheeler.
The game went scoreless for the next 68 minutes before the Penguins tacked on a second goal for the 2-0 victory.
Marissa Minor (Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena) stopped 11 shots for CUH. Ayasha Abut got one shot on goal for the Swords.
The Swords were out-shot 26-3. Eleanna Mendez and Mary Wheeler scored for Dominican.
With the loss, the Swords move to (0-13). Dominican moves to 6-8-3. Chaminade is back in action at home on October 28th against Academy of Art. The game is set for 10:00 AM HT.
