Hilo, HI- Chaminade took on the Vulcans of Hawaii-Hilo today in a Pac West conference match-up and fell 3-0. Kelly White scored 2 goals for the Vulcans.
Chaminade battled throughout the first half, as Hawaii-Hilo scored just once in the opening forty-five minutes. UHH took a 1-0 led into the break
The Vulcans got on the board in the opening minutes of the second half as Kelly White tallied her second goal of the match. UHH added a final goal in the 81st minute for the 3-0 final.
Marissa Minor (Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena) stopped 15 shots for CUH.
Ayasha Abut (Aiea, HI/Moanalua) took a shot on goal for Chaminade.
The Swords were out-shot 33-3.
With the loss, the Swords conclude the year at 0-17. Hawaii-Hilo improves to 4-12-4. The match concluded the season for Chaminade.
