Anchorage, AK- The Seawolves got off to a great start, taking an early lead it would never relinquish, defeating Chaminade75-53 in the final game of the A T& T Jamboree in Anchorage.
The Swords cold-shooting in the first half, 30% from the floor and 11% from three, put hem behind at the break. Anchorage was hot from behind the arc all night, shooting 44% from the arc for the contest.
Chaminade was led by Steven Bennett whop shot 9-15 from the floor, to score 20 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Chandler Pearson added 9 rebounds in defeat.
The Seawolves were led by Brandon Walker with 20 points.
Chaminade falls to 3-6 on the year, while UAA improves to 7-2. The Swords are off until Jan. 7th, when they head on the road to face Grand Canyon and Dixie State.
