CUH WS: Chaminade Downed by UH-Hilo 3-0

Honolulu, HI- The Swords played the Vulcans to a first half 0-0 draw, but fell to a strong second half from UH-Hilo by a score of 3-0.

UH-Hilo had three goals in the second stanza, the first and game winner was Gina Tumasone's in the 56^th minute.  Alysia Salvador added a second Vulcan goal in the 63^rd minute, followed by Chelsea Gomez in the 80^th minute for the 3-0 victory. 

Chaminade managed 5 shots (4 on goal) to the Vulcans 28 (8 on goal).

Marissa Minor stopped 8 shots for CUH.

With the loss, the Swords move to 0-3.  UH-Hilo moves to 1-4-1 on the year.  Chaminade is back in action on September 19th against BYU-Hawaii.  The game is set for 1 PM HT in Laie, HI.Boxscore.htm
