Hilo, HI- Chaminade fell to the Vulcans of UH-Hilo 4-0 in a non-conference affair to open the 2010 season.
Hilo went up 1-0 early on, but the Swords battled and went into the half down only 1-0. UH-Hilo tacked on three second half goals for the 4-0 victory.

Marissa Minor (Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena) stopped nine shots for the Swords. The Vulcans out-shot CUh 22-2.
With the loss, the Swords moves to 0-1. Hawaii-Hilo improves to 1-0. Chaminade is back in action on September 6th vs. Cal State East Bay. The game is set for 3:30 PM HT. The game will be played at St. Louis Field. (The game was originally scheduled to be played in Waipio)
