CUH WS: Chaminade falls to BYU-Hawaii 6-0

Laie, HI-Chaminade fell to the Seasiders of BYU-Hawaii today in the conference road opener by a score of 6-0. The Seasiders got out in front in the first half, scoring goals in the 5th, 41st, 42nd and 45th minutes to lead 4-0 at the break. The Seasiders Nicole Slater assisted on three of the four first half goals. 
 
BYU-Hawaii tacked on goals in the 55th and 90th minutes for the 6-0 final. CUH senior goalkeeper Marissa Minor (Captain Cook, HI/Konawaena) stopped fourteen shots in defeat. 
 
The Swords were out-shot 38-1 on the match. Freshman Amber Bonifacio (Ewa Beach, HI/Moanalua HS) managed the lone shot for Chaminade.   
 
With the loss, the Swords move to 0-4. BYU-Hawaii improves to 3-0-1. Chaminade is back in action at home on September 29th vs. Academy of Art. Game time is set for 12:30 PM HT on St. Louis Field.
