LAIE, HI- Chaminade faced the Seasiders of BYU-Hawaii on the North Shore this afternoon and fell 3-0.
Despite being out-shot 12-1 in the first half, the Swords kept BYU-Hawaii off the scoreboard in the opening 45 minutes, going into halftime tied at 0-0.
Natalie Drewery notched the game-winner for the Seasiders in the 62 minute, and BYU-Hawaii tacked on two more goals in the second half for the 3-0 victory.
Freshman forward Kaitlyn Powell (Kerrville, TX/Tivy) led the way with a shot on goal for the Swords.

The Swords were out-shot 22-1.
With the loss, the Swords move to 0-3. BYU-Hawaii improves to 3-0. Chaminade is back in action on September 15th at home on St. Louis Field. The Swords face UH-Hilo at 10:00 AM HT.
