WSOC: Lancers Blank Swords

Box Score RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A nine-day, four-match road trip for the Chaminade women's soccer team ended with a 7-0 loss at California Baptist in a Pacific West Conference game Tuesday.
 
The loss kept the Silverswords winless at 0-9 overall and 0-5 in the PacWest. The Lancers, who are the defending conference regular season champions, improved to 7-4 overall and 6-1 in the PacWest.
 
CBU scored five goals in the first half, but Chaminade goal keeper Lauren Ishii kept the Lancers off the scoreboard in the second until the 82nd minute. Ishii made seven saves, extending her conference-leading total to 63.
 
The Swords return home to face Dominican on Monday at St. Louis Field. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m.
