Buscherhoff and Matthews both recorded three saves, but it was Matthews who got the win to improve to 1-1. Buscherhoff fell to 3-5.
Dixie State outshot Chaminade, 13-10, but the 'Swords held the advantage in corner kicks, 7-3.

Jacob Muniz accounted for Chaminade's other shots on goal.
The Silverswords will look to end their three-game losing streak when they host No. 20 Azusa Pacific, the preseason favorite to win the PacWest. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m.
