HILO, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's soccer team fell in a double-overtime heartbreaker, 1-0, to Hawai'i-Hilo at UH-Hilo Baseball Stadium on Thursday.
Abcde Zoeller netted the game's only goal, coming in the 107
th minute of play.
The Silverswords had several chances late in the game to get the win, but a
Keelani Duffey shot in the 99
th minute was saved by Vulcans netminder Jenna Hufford. Duffey had another attempt at the net, but her shot was wide of the goal in the opening minutes of the second overtime period.
Chaminade fell to 3-10-1 overall and 3-7-1 Pacific West Conference while UHH improved to 7-4-4 and 4-3-4.
Duffey attempted three total shots while
Nicole Nishiki attempted two more the Swords.

The 'Swords return home for their season finale when they face BYU-Hawai'i at Saint Louis Field at 3 p.m. It will also represent the final game for seniors
