’Swords Drop Season Finale to BYUH

LAIE, O'ahu, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's soccer team ended the season with a 3-0 loss to BYU-Hawai'i Saturday at BYUH Soccer Field.
 
Ansley Warner, Kala Brundige and Tiffani Rice each had goals for BYUH while Brena Jarvis had a pair of assists.
 
The contest marked the final career games for Chaminade seniors Kristen Fujinaga, Twyla Hamasaki, Lauren Ishii and Raquelle Matayoshi.
 
Ishii, making her 64th straight and final career start in goal, made five saves in taking the loss. She ended her career having played a program-record 5,841:59 consecutive minutes. Her .746 career save percentage is the best in program history. Ishii also is the all-time career leader in wins.
 
Hamasaki took three shots, two on goal. The Iolani graduate finished her career as the program's all-time career leader in goals (11) and points (26).
 
The Silverswords, whose injury-ravaged squad played short-handed from the beginning of the year, ended the season 1-16 overall and 0-13 in the Pacific West Conference.
 
The Seasiders finished the year 6-9-3 and 5-6-2.
