WAIPAHU, O'ahu, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University men's soccer team fell to Hawai'i Pacific University 2-0 Saturday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.
The Sharks (3-5-4 overall, 3-3-2 Pacific West Conference) scored twice in the second half after the game was scoreless at the half. Both HPU goals came in after the 70
th minute by Josch Cuerten and Sven Koening.
Micah Mokulehua attempted two shots, one on goal.
Nick Kraus and
Joshua Wong each took one shot with Kraus' shot being on goal.
Bernd Buescherhoff made five saves in taking the loss. Jessie Kunitomo made two stops for HPU in getting the win.
The Silverswords (5-6, 5-4) return home for their final two home games starting Thursday against Point Loma.
