The Silverswords fell behind by 11 on a Claire Ziegler layup on the first possession of the third quarter and were never able to cut the deficit back to single digits for the remainder of the game.
Chaminade was held to 33.8 percent shooting (22-of-65) while Minnesota State was at a 48 percent clip. The Mavericks also outrebounded the 'Swords, 53-28.
The Silverswords are next in action on Thursday, Nov. 30, when they open Pacific West Conference action against Concordia University Irvine in the home opener at McCabe Gym. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. with live streaming audio on GoSwords.com.
