WAIMEA, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's tennis team dropped their second match of the season on Saturday, falling 7-0 to fellow Pacific West Conference member Stanislaus State at the Fairmont Orchid Tennis Center.
The Silverswords (0-2) used their same lineups as they did in Friday's season opener against Dallas Baptist with
Catrina Liner (Corvallis, Ore./Corvallis) and freshman
Kayleen Lau (Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Maui) in the top two singles spots and being playing partners in doubles.
The Warriors, ranked No. 10 in the ITA Division II West Region Rankings, improved to 2-1.
The Silverswords face Hawai'i Hilo on Sunday afternoon to conclude their three-match trip to the Big Island.
