HONOLULU – Fresh of their road trip to Northern California, the Chaminade University women's tennis team played their final home match of 2023 on Friday, dropping a 7-0 decision to Division I Portland State at the Donald Andrews Diamond Head Tennis Courts.
The Vikings won all three doubles matches, taking the lone point in the duo competition.

Emily Ramirez Miranda (Honolulu/Kaiser) was the only Silversword to take multiple games off her opponent in a 6-2, 6-0 loss to Maddie Egan in No. 5 singles.
Molly Cookman (Racine, Wis./Prairie),
Berylin Lau (Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Maui) and
Selena Buttery (Brockway, Pa./Brockway) managed to take single games off their respective opponents.
The 'Swords will travel to the Big Island to face Hawai'i Hilo in a pair of matches Saturday at the UH Hilo Tennis Courts.
