HILO, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches Saturday against the University of Hawai'i Hilo at the UH Hilo Tennis Courts by identical scores of 7-0.
The morning session saw the Vulcans win the required two-of-three doubles matches to claim the doubles points.
Berylin Lau (Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Maui) was the only Silversword to take a game in singles.
It was a near-mirror image in the afternoon's second match with UH Hilo taking both doubles matches to earn the doubles points.
Molly Cookman (Racine, Wis./Prairie) managed to take a game during the second set in No. 1 singles against Julia Barden.
The 'Swords will finish the season on Wednesday at nationally-ranked Hawai'i Pacific University at the Kailua Racquet Club.
