AZUSA, Calif. – The Chaminade University women's soccer team on Monday dropped a 4-0 decision to Azusa Pacific at the Cougar Soccer Complex in a matchup of Pacific West Conference contenders.
The Silverswords, ranked eighth in the latest United Soccer Coaches West Region Poll, suffered their first conference loss of the season, falling to 4-1-2 and remained with 14 points in the PacWest while their overall mark dropped to 5-3-4 as their six-game streak without a loss was halted.
The Cougars got a hat trick from Jaci Maze, improving to 8-3-1 overall and 4-3 with 12 conference points.
Chaminade attempted five shots on the evening while APU took 11 boots, six on-goal.

Shannon Healy (Gilbert, Ariz./Campo Verde),
Kenna Kiefer (Vail, Ariz./Cienega),
Haley Mo'okini (San Gabriel, Calif./Gabrielino) and

Izabella Holly (Tucson, Ariz./Cienega) made two saves in taking the loss while Maddie Williams also had two saves in earning the win.
The Silverswords wrap up their southern California road trip Saturday at 21st-ranked and defending Division II national champion Point Loma.
