Chaminade University guards Jessiya Villa (Laurel, Md./University of Hawai'i/Kahuku HS, Hawai'i) and Sameera Elmasri (Shawnee, Kan./Birmingham-Southern Univ./Saint Thomas Aquinas HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Feb. 19 and 25.

Villa recorded season highs of 14 points and five assists in the men's basketball team's 87-82 overtime win at Fresno Pacific last Saturday, both of which were also his highest since his redshirt freshman season in February 2021. The redshirt junior went 6-of-7 from the field including 2-of-3 from 3-point range to help the 'Swords sweep the season series from the Sunbirds.

Elmasri posted double-doubles in consecutive games at FPU and at Lincoln University, totaling 32 points and 24 rebounds, hitting 5-of-9 from long range. The junior had 14 points and 11 rebounds against the Sunbirds then ended the 'Swords' road trip with a season-high-tying 18 points and a season-best 13 boards giving her five double-doubles this season. Their win at Lincoln was their first road victory over a team outside the Pacific West Conference in program history.
