ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Chaminade University men's golf team completed the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on Tuesday, finishing 18th with a 905 after a final round 302 at the par-72 Corica Park Golf Course.
Riley Born (Las Vegas/Odyssey),
Tanner Capik (Los Angeles/Beverly Hills) and
Chance Wilson (Princeville, Kaua'i, Hawai'i/Enlightium Academy) all finished at 9-over-par. Capik and
A.J. Dahlk (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields), the latter who finished the tournament at 233, both carded 2-over 74s with four birdies in the final round.
Cody Dao (Henderson, Nev./Liberty) rounded out the 'Swords' scoring at 235.
Host Cal State East Bay won its own tournament at 15-under, besting Colorado Christian University by three shots. Tucker Sweeney of Santa Clara University, playing as an individual, won the crown at minus-10.
The Silverswords are scheduled next to play in the Chilly the Penguin Invitational in Sonoma, California on April 6-7.
