Danny O'Regan

Danny O'Regan will serve as interim head coach for the 2015 season and is also Chaminade's Director of Campus Ministry.

O'Regan coached the University of San Diego women's club soccer team in 2008 and is a frequent participant in the Hawai'i men's soccer league scene, having played for the Central Legends in Mililani. He also played collegiately at the University of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England, where he received his Bachelor's Degree with honors in Urban Planning.

O’Regan grew up in Corby, England, and moved to the United States in 2001. He has lived in Hawai‘i since 2009 and worked at the Newman Center at the University of Hawai‘i-Manoa before coming to Chaminade in 2012. He also has his Master’s in Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California.
 
His passion for the sport extends to his family who owns season tickets to Manchester United home games. O’Regan has traveled back to his homeland several times the past few years to watch them play in-person, including the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona in 2011.
