Jason Kelley

Coach Jason Kelley, a native of Australia, enters his third season at the head of Chaminade Men's Soccer program. Coach Kelley's first two years have seen five Silverswords gain Pac West All-Conference honors and three student athletes have been named academic all-conference.  Prior to coming to Chaminade, Kelley's coaching and playing background has been both extensive and varied. The co-owner of Hawaii's largest soccer store, Xtreme Soccer Hawaii, Kelley is a 1993 graduate of the University of Sydney, Australia. After graduation, Kelley was involved in the professional ranks from 1993-1998, making stops in both Australia and England. Along with his 25 years playing and 18 years coaching experience, Jason brings an international understanding of the game to Chaminade.

Also active in youth coaching, Kelley has served as the Coaching Coordinator for Hawaii's Olympic Development Program where he helps oversees player development and selections. He has served as an assistant director of coaching for the Mililani Soccer Club and now assists with a local youth soccer club as a team trainer and goalkeeping coach. Prior to coming to Hawaii, Jason served as the Executive Director of the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club and Super - Y programs. In addition to his role as director, Jason also served as head coach or assistant coach on several teams through-out the club.

For the upcoming year, Coach Kelley will also serve as a 2010-11 member of the NCAA Men's Soccer West Regional Advisory Committee. He currently holds a USSF National "B" License and Goalkeeping Level I.
