High School: Soccer standout for the Knights of Castle High School. Started at right wing. Started on the varsity baseball team. Ran varsity track and field. Sophomore year, Tyler was ranked second in the state in the 300-meter hurdles and in the 100-meter dash. Member of the Varsity 4x400 track team, which was ranked eighth in the state. Tyler competed on the 1st Team Division 2 in high school for soccer.                                                                                                                                                                   

Personal: The son of Lynn and Desmond Kochi, Tyler Kochi was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. One of three children, Tyler has 2 older brothers Brede Kochi, and Kelsey Kochi. Hobbies include: soccer, baseball, and body boarding.
