Biography

Chaminade: 2008-09: Appeared in 25 games a sophomore, 6 of which she started. She averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds per game.

Cerritos College: Prior to joining Chaminade Demyla was a member of the Cerritos College Flacons cheerleading squad. Her and cheer squad once in college took third place in a national competition, they were judged on cheer and hip-hop.     

High School: Demyla played basketball all four years in high school. She won numerous awards such as, the Coaches award, most improved and most inspirational. She was also a member of the honor roll in high school.

Personal: The daughter of Fernando Rodriguez and Lea Trujillo of Whittier, CA. Demyla has two siblings, one sister named Adriana and a brother named Elijah. She is majoring in Criminal Justice at Chaminade.
