Biography
Chaminade University:
2010-11: During her sophomore year, averaged 7.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game for the Swords. Higa also received PacWest All Academic Honors.
2009-10: Jamie had a solid freshman campaign for the Lady Swords. She played in 23 games, 16 of which she started. She averaged 28 minutes of playing time and contributed with 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist per game. Her career best game against BYU- Hawaii when she scored 12 points, recorded 2 rebounds had 2 assists.
High School: A two year member of the Falcon women’s basketball program. She was coached by George Weeks. She was the female athlete of the year and female multi-sport athlete of the year during her senior year. She was also was named the United States Marine Corp Distinguished Athlete during her senior year, as well. She averaged 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals per game.
Personal: Jamie is the daughter of Randy and Audrey Higa. Jamie has one brother, Reyn. She is majoring in Elementary Education at Chaminade.
