Biography
Chaminade University:
2010-11: Sat out the first half of the year, due to a knee injury. Costello started nine games, averaging 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. She also received PacWest All Academic Honors.
2009-10: Had an impressive sophomore year for the Silverswords. Appeared in all 24 games last season and started 20 of them. Averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds and shot nearly 70% from the free throw line. Involved in snapping a 54 game losing streak against BYU Hawai’i on December 15
th, 2009; hit a 3 point basket with 23 seconds in the game to propel the Lady Swords to victory, 53-52.
High School: Enjoyed a solid four years for the Vikings under the tutelage of Coach Robert Schopf. Was named to Western Lakes All Division 2004-07, Kelly was named to the Western All Lakes League team in 2008. She was a 4 year Western Lake Athlete Scholar from 2004-08 Seasons. Her career best game in high school, she scored 28 points and 7 rebounds.
Personal: Kelly is the daughter of Bill and Maureen Costello of Wixom, MI. She has one sister, Justine and two brothers, Sean and Kyle. She is double majoring at Chaminade in International Trade and Business Administration.
