Chaminade University: Samantha enters her third season for the Silverswords. She has started every game the past two seasons. During her freshman year 2006-07, Samantha averaged 8.9 points per game and grabbed 3 rebounds per contest. She scored a career high that year of 20 points against BYU- Hawaii. Almost a year to the date of last year's career high during her sophomore season, she scored 24 points against the Vulcans of UH-Hilo. Her sophomore season she averaged 9.8 points per game and grabbed 3.3 rebounds for the Silverswords.

High School: Samantha attended Sacred Hearts Academy where she lettered all four years. She was named Most Valuable player her Junior and Senior seasons. She was also nominated to the McDonald’s All-American in team 2006. Her senior year she was named Senior Athlete of the year, she was also a member of the National Honor Society. Her best game in high school came against Maryknoll high school where she scored 21 points.

 Personal: Samantha is an only child. She is the daughter of Anthony and Lisa Saito of Aiea, HI. Samantha was born December 4^th, 1988.
