Biography

Career:  Tied for ninth in 3-pointers (50) and 10th in 3-point attempts (191) … fourth in minutes per game (31.2, minimum 40 games played).
 
2019-20 (Redshirt Senior):  Academic All-PacWest … played 27 games with 26 starts … finished third in scoring (6.9 points per game) and 3-pointers (26) … second in minutes (31.4) … averaged 2.7 rebounds … team-high 82.4 percent (42-of-51) free throw percentage which would’ve ranked fourth in the PacWest if qualified … career-high 25 points at Biola (Feb. 13), making 6-of-9 from 3-point range, third-most in single-game history, one shy of the program record … season-high six rebounds twice, last vs. Dominican (Jan. 13) … career-highs of four assists and three steals at Academy of Art (Dec 15).

2018-19:  Redshirted.

2017-18 (Junior):  Academic All-PacWest ... team's Most Inspirational Player ... Started 21 of 22 games ... averaged 6.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game ... shot 31.4 percent from the floor ... made 26-of-28 free throws (92.9 percent) ... tied for second in 3-pointers made (24) ... season-high 16 points vs. Hawai'i HIlo (Dec. 16), making four 3-pointers ... also made four triples vs. Dixie State (Feb. 1) ... hit double-digit scoring in six of the team's last eight games ... season-best seven rebounds at Holy Names (Jan. 20) ... had seven games with two assists and three contests of two steals.

Previous School:  Attended Clark College in Vancouver, Wash., for two years ... was the Penguins' team captain and earned the Coach's Award during senior year ... also earned Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic honors ... named to the NWAConference South Division All-Freshmen Team finishing 15th in the conference in assists (3.38) as a freshman.

High School:  A 2015 graduate of Kamehameha-Kapalama School in Honolulu ... played on the Warriors' varsity team all four years and was a team captain final two years ... earned All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I All-Star honors and the team's Most Inspirational Player as a senior ... was the Warriors' Scholar-Athlete in junior year ... helped guide KSK to the 2013 Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division I championship as a sophomore ... played club basketball for Kalakaua Basketball Club and HK Basketball.

Personal:  Father is Brad Nueku and mother is Michelle Kalakau ... brothers are Brad Nueku Jr. and Braden Nueku ... sisters are Brittni Rapoza-Nueku, Brachelle Nueku and Brielle Nueku ... majoring in Biology ... hobbies include working out, shopping, going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends.
