Fall 2021 (Junior): Named All-Pacific West Conference Second Team middle blocker… earned one PacWest Player of the Week honor (Oct. 4) and one PacWest Defender of the Week award (Nov. 15) … helped Silverswords win first Pacific West Conference title since 1996 with a program-record 27 wins and a berth in the NCAA West Regional … also helped them achieve first AVCA national ranking since 2005 … named to the Hawai‘i Challenge All-Tournament Team … one of three players to play all 124 sets … started all 33 matches … ranked fourth in the PacWest (tied for 59th nationally) with .333 hitting percentage and sixth in the conference (tied for 115th nationally) in blocking at 0.94 per set … third on the team in kills (259) and averaged 2.09 kills per set … tallied 116 total blocks (22 solo, 94 assisted) … finished second on team in points (258.0) … also had 24 digs and six assists … had 10 matches with a .350 attack percentage (8 or more kills) … recorded 21 matches with three or more total blocks … season-highs of 13 kills and nine blocks against Azusa Pacific (Nov. 8) … hit .750 (9 kills, no errors, 12 attempts) at Holy Names (Sept. 30).
Spring 2021 (Junior): Started 15 matches … finished third in the Pacific West Conference in blocks, averaging 1.10 blocks per set (68 total blocks with 62 assisted and six solo), which ranks second in program single season history … helped team finish with a 2.11 blocks average which is also second in single-season history and second in the conference during the year … tied single-match record with 11 block assists vs. Hawai‘i Hilo (March 21) … averaged 1.29 kills per set and hit .280, the latter which was ninth in the conference … had 13 kills and hit .600, both season highs, against Hawai‘i Pacific (April 18) … had 13 multi-block matches including 12 with three or more.
2019 (Sophomore): Named All-Pacific West Conference Second Team … PacWest Player of the Week on Sept. 9 and PacWest Defender of the Week on Sept. 23 … played 26 matches with 25 starts … ranked third in the PacWest in hitting percentage (.349) which is tied for third in single-season school history ... led team in blocks per set (0.75), block assists (58) and block solos (11) … had 10 matches of hitting .400 or better with 10 or more attack attempts … season-high 15 kills twice (Sept. 14 vs. Cal State Monterey Bay; Oct. 2 at Fresno Pacific) … had 20 multi-block matches … became just the second Silversword to record a kill-block double-double with 10 kills, career-high 10 total blocks at Hawai‘i Hilo (Sept. 21) … totaled 200 kills and 69 combined blocks … finished fourth in points (240.0) and fifth in points per set (2.61).
2018 (Freshman): Played 22 sets in 13 matches ... totaled seven kills, 11 total blocks with 10 block assists and one dig ... tied season-high with two kills along with season-best three blocks (all assisted) at Fresno Pacific (Oct. 27) ... one block solo vs. Academy of Art (Oct. 1).
Prep: A 2018 graduate of Oakwood High School ... helped guide the Hawks to three consecutive Mission Trail Athletic League championships ... named to the All-MTAL First Team all four years and was the MTAL Most Valuable Player in sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... played basketball in freshman and sophomore years ... played club volleyball at City Beach Volleyball Club in final three years of high school (16-1s Black in 2016; 17-1s Black in '17 and 18-1s Black in '18) ... 16-1s squad was ranked sixth in Northern California and advanced to the AAU Nationals ... 17-1s team was ranked seventh in Northern California and qualified for the Junior Olympics in Minneapolis, Minn.
