Cheyne Obara was named the Pacific West Conference Player of the Week after going 7-for-12 at the plate with eight runs, two RBI and three walks in the Silverswords’ series win at Hawai‘i Hilo on April 17 and 18. Three of the four games were multi-hit contests and in their first game on April 18, the junior second baseman tied a school record with four runs.
