Marisa Luna, competing in No. 5 singles against UC Riverside on March 25, managed to take a game off her Division I counterpart, Niki Shahbazi. The sophomore held her own against Shahbazi in a 6-1 first set defeat then staved off several points and trailed just 3-0 before the Silverswords’ match was decided, rendering her match as unfinished.
