Naomi Takata was a shield for the Silverswords, posting consecutive shutouts on Oct. 18 against Fresno Pacific and Oct. 22 at Azusa Pacific. The junior broke the single season team record with six clean sheets and lowered her goals-against average to .580. Her contributions helped the ’Swords remain undefeated through five PacWest contests and become a contender for the conference title.
