Maria Steinke was the first Division II runner to cross the finish line at the Chaminade Invitational 5-kilometer women's race at Kapiolani Park, crossing the tape at 20 minutes, 17.0 seconds, the fastest time by a Silversword runner on the course. The women’s team finished second only to Division I Hawai‘i Manoa in the team results.
