Honolulu, HI- It's difficult to beat a team three times. HPU proved that today, coming back from a 13 point deficit at the half to defeat Chaminade 63-57.
The Swords were out-rebounded 32-31.
Chaminade was cold from the arc, shooting 35% from three, three of 14 in the second half. Marko Kolaric had 18 rebounds, a career high.
Rishi Kakad led the way for the Sea Warriors with 14 points, all in the second half.
Chaminade moves to 15-5, 10-1 with the loss, HPU moves to 5-15, 2-9 with the win.
The Swords are back in action on Feb 6th against BYU-Hawaii. Game time is set for 7:30 PM in McCabe Gym.
