Waipio, HI- Chaminade got some redemption today defeating the Seasiders of BYU-Hawaii 2-1 to earn a split in the Hawaii Challenge Cup.
The Swords got out early, scoring on a penalty in the first half to take a 1-0 lead to the break. CUH added another mid way through the second half to go up 2-0. BYU-Hawaii did not quit, scoring a goal to make it 2-1. The Swords defense held up down the stretch and preserved the 2-1 victory over BYU-Hawaii.
CUH improves to 1-4 with the win, while the Seasiders move to 1-4 with the loss.
