Chaminade Men’s Soccer Falls to Dixie State 4-0

Lounsbury leads Swords with five saves

St. George, UT- Dixie State got on the board early, with a Kyle Beck goal in the 11th minute to go up 1-0 early on in this Pac West affair in Hansen Stadium.  Chaminade battled back, staying within one goal at the break. 

 

The game stayed at 1-0 until the 70th minute where a second Dixie State goal helped put the game away. Dixie State added goals in the 81st and 88th minute for the 4-0 final. 

 

Dixie State out-shot the Swords 25-9.

 

The Swords were led offensively by Garrett Barker with five shots on goal. 

 

Chaminade moves to 1-8-1 on the year with the loss.  Dixie State moves to 1-3-1 with the win.  The Swords are back in action on September 29th vs. Cal State San Bernardino in San Bernardino, CA.  Game time is set for 5:30 PM PT.
