CUH MS: Dixie State Defeats Swords 4-0

Darren Smith stopped 4 shots for Swords

St. George, UT- In a Pac West Conference matchup at Hansen Stadium, Chaminade fell to the Red Storm of Dixie State 4-0.       

 

Dixie State got the game-winner in the 13th minute with a goal by Jordan Roylance.  It was the first of three goals for Roylance on the evening.  He also scored in the 17th and 23rd minutes.  Francisco Arellano added the Red Storm's other goal.  All four Dixie State goals were scored in the opening half. 

 

Keenan Ho (Honolulu, HI/St. Louis) was attacking throughout for Chaminade, getting two shots on goal for the Swords.  The match was a physical one on both sides, with 7 yellow cards called throughout. 

 

Darren Smith (Mililani, HI/Mililani) made 4 saves in one half of action for CUH.  Chaminade lost the shot total 23-4.

 

With the loss, Chaminade moves to (1-6, 0-4). Dixie State improves to (3-4-1, 1-3).  Chaminade is set to play another Pac West conference match on October 10th at Grand Canyon.  Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM MT.
