Laie, HI- In the third match of Pac West conference play, Chaminade fought the Seasiders for every point, but eventually fell to the team from the North Shore 18-25, 23-25, 24-26.

Whitney Viveiros (Hilo, HI/Kamehameha-Kapalama) had 7 kills to go along with 19 digs.
Chauntelle Maduli (Honolulu, HI/Kamehameha-Kapalama) led the Swords with 13 kills on a .290 hitting percentage.
BYU-Hawaii was led by Kylee Nawahine with 11 kills. The Seasiders led in hitting percentage .217 to .154. BYU-Hawaii won the block battle 9-0.
Tanya Alvino (Brentwood, CA/Liberty) added 34 assists for Chaminade.
The Swords move to 1-11 on the year with the loss, 0-3 in Pac West play. BYU-Hawaii improves to 4-7, 1-1 in the Pac West. Chaminade now heads to California for four matches. The first match is against Academy of Art on September 29th. First serve is set for 7 PM PT.
