Honolulu, HI- The Silverswords fought NDNU all afternoon, battling back from a 2-0 deficit to nearly tie the Argonauts before losing 2-1 today at St. Louis Field.
NDNU got a goal from Cole Travis in the 41st minute and took a 1-0 lead into the break. The Argos added another goal in the 65th minute to go up 2-0.
Chaminade did not fold down two goals. Freshman defender
Jose Carranza (Winnetaa, CA/Canoga Park) scored a beautiful goal off a free kick from 25 yards out to cut the deficit in half in the 70th minute. Neither team could score after that, and the Argos held on for a 2-1 victory.

Hayes Sperry (Gulf Breeze, FL/Gulf Breeze) stopped ten shots for Chaminade, continuing his impressive freshman season.
The Swords were out-shot 22-7.
With the loss, Chaminade moves to 1-8. NDNU moves to 10-2. Chaminade is set to play Dominican on October 18th at home. Kickoff is set for 10:00 AM HT at St. Louis Field.
