HONOLULU, HI- Chaminade Men's Soccer took on the Seasiders of BYU-Hawaii today and fell in a 2-0 defeat this afternoon.
The first half saw back and forth action as the match was scoreless for the majority of the half. BYU-Hawaii got on the scoreboard first with a goal by Dillon Richens in the 38
th minute of action.
The beginning of the second half saw heated action both ways, with both teams creating chances. Freshman
Dayton Sato (Waipahu, HI/Pearl City) led the way with five shots for the Swords.
A header by Chaminade junior Jon Fukumoto (Mililani, HI/Mililani) challenged the Seasider keeper, but Josiah Holtz made the save to preserve the 1-0 lead. BYU-Hawaii added a goal in the 86th minute on a penalty kick to secure the 2-0 final.

Dillon Richens led the way for the Seasiders with 4 shots on the match.
With the loss, Chaminade moves to 0-10-1, 0-6 and BYU-Hawaii moves to 6-2-1, 2-1-1. The Swords are back in action on October 13th at 12:30 PM HT against HPU.
