CUH MSOC: Chaminade Downed at NDNU 3-0

Pena stops seven shots for Swords

BELMONT, CA- Chaminade Men's Soccer fell to NDNU in Pac West Conference action by a score of 3-0.  The Swords could find an answer for Oscar Yniguez who had was involved with every Argo goal, finishing with one goal and two assists.       
 
The first half saw NDNU score in the 10th minute with a goal by Frank Barnes.  A Jesus Gonzalez goal in the 34th minute put the Argos up 2-0 at half.  A third NDNU goal by Oscar Yniguez in the 52nd minute sealed the 3-0 win. 
 
Kyle Withoft (Las Vegas, NV/Arbor View) led Chaminade with three shots.  The Swords were out-shot 27-5.    
 
Freshman goalkeeper, Jose Miguel Pena (Santiago, Chile/St. George's) had 7 saves for the match. 
 
Three Argos had four shots each for the match. 
 
With the loss, Chaminade moves to 0-7-1, 0-3 and NDNU moves to 4-3, 1-2.  The Swords are back in action on September 29th at 4:00 PM HT against Dominican.
