Freshman Tom Higgins (Wakefield, RI/ South Kingstown) made 5 saves for CUH.  Oktay Bulut of the Cougars led all players with 5 shots.

Coach Higgins commented on the contest: “There was a delay in the game due to lightning, and rainy conditions, which led to a sluggish start by us.  We gave up two goals due to poor defending, but got one back on a PK.  We just struggled to find any sort of rhythm in the first half.  We defended better in the second half with increased intensity and group structure, but injuries have played a major role with the success of our team.”

With the loss, Chaminade moves to (1-8-1, 1-6-1 PWC). Azusa Pacific improves to (8-3-1, 6-2 PWC).  Chaminade is on the road at Point Loma Nazarene on October 13th. The match is set for 11:00 AM PT.
