Box Score HONOLULU, HI- Chaminade dropped a match with Fresno Pacific as the Sunbirds defeated CUH in a PacWest Conference match 7-1.
The Sunbirds scored early on, getting a goal from Fabricio Nazare in the 6
th minute of action. FPU added another goal in the 29
th minute as Rodrigo Vianna found the back of the net for a 2-0 lead.
Sunbirds out-shot Chaminade 11-5 in the opening half.
Fresno Pacific scored in the 49
th minute, as Alvaro Nogales scored to make the score 3-0. Fabricio Nazare was credited with the assist. The Sunbirds didn't wait long as FPU's Bruno Pessoa tallied a goal in the 52
nd minute for a 4-0 lead. Nazare scored again in the 54
th minute to make it 5-0 FPU. Nazare added another goal for FPU in the 63
rd minute to make it 6-0. After another Sunbirds goal, Chaminade tallied a goal as
Colton Gallt (Plainfield, IL/Plainfield South) scored off an assist from
Jose Furman (Miami, FL/ Miami Country Day) to make the score 7-1.
