IRVINE, Calif. – The Chaminade University women's soccer team would like to replay the opening minutes of the second half.
Concordia victimized the Silverswords for two goals in the first 8:30 of the second stanza to hand them a 3-0 setback Saturday at Eagles Soccer Field.
After a scoreless first half, the Eagles (6-2-2 overall, 5-1 Pacific West Conference) struck first on Alexis Garcia-Irons' goal just under five minutes in. Four minutes later, CUI struck again, this time McKenna Carillo received a crossing pass from Taylor Thurman and found the lower right corner to put them up 2-0.

th minute but 'Swords goalkeeper
Lauren Ishii stopped Stephanie Esparza's penalty kick to keep Chaminade (1-8, 0-5) down by a deuce.
Then in the 75
th minute, Carillo notched her second goal of the game, her fourth of the year to complete the game's scoring.
Raquelle Matayoshi attempted the team's only shot of the game. Ishii made five stops. CUI's Darby Clements picked up the win.
The Silverswords conclude their road trip Monday when they face Point Loma.
