HONOLULU – The Chaminade University men's basketball team announced Thursday schedule changes for their upcoming trip to the Pacific West Conference's Northern California region as well as two home games in January and February.
The Silverswords, who were originally scheduled to open their NorCal trip on Sunday at Holy Names, will now start on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Dominican University of California with tipoff at 4 p.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. Hawaiian. The Holy Names contest will be played on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. PST.
The 'Swords' regularly scheduled game at Fresno Pacific on Dec. 17 remains in place, meaning they will play three conference games in consecutive days.
The women's games against HNU and DUC will not be affected.
Times for the women's and men's games on Monday, Jan. 17 against Academy of Art and Monday, Feb. 7 against Azusa Pacific have also been changed.
The Academy of Art contests will start with the women's game at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men at 7:30. The Azusa Pacific games will have 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. start times to accommodate APU's flight schedule back to the mainland.
