HONOLULU – The Chaminade University men's and women's basketball teams have rescheduled their postponed Fresno Pacific games to Tuesday, Feb. 15 at McCabe Gymnasium. The women's game will tip at 3:30 p.m. followed by the men at 5:30 p.m.
Both games were originally scheduled for Jan. 6 but were postponed due to Pacific West Conference health and safety protocols.
Although the rescheduled games will be the home finale for both Silversword teams, Senior Night festivities will still be held on Friday, Feb. 11 against Hawai'i Pacific University.
The FPU game for the men will mean they will have at least scheduled to play all 20 PacWest games despite the high number of postponements that plagued multiple conferences nationwide. The CUH women have managed to schedule 16 games but will unlikely face FPU for a second time this year as well as both games against Holy Names. The second Academy of Art contest had already been canceled.
The PacWest has required teams complete 70 percent (14 games) of their 20-game conference slate to be eligible for March's PacWest Championships which was expanded to eight earlier this week.
