Morris Named Academic All-District

Chaminade University women's basketball guard Emma Morris (Tucson, Ariz./Tanque Verde) was named Tuesday to the College Sports Communicators Academic (CSC) All-District Team.
 
The junior averaged 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest this season while her 17 blocked shots are tied for 11th in the Pacific West Conference.
 
Morris, who just completed her junior season, has 49 career 3-pointers and is just one away from breaking into the program's top-10 in the category. Her 29 blocks rank seventh in team history.
 
Morris currently has a cumulative grade-point average of 3.78 in Integrative and Organismal Biology.
 
The Division II CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national government structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspect for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America programs.
