ALAMEDA, Calif. – Due to extremely high wind conditions at the Corica Park South Course, the third and final round of the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout was canceled after five holes.
The final standings and individual results were determined after Monday afternoon's second round. The Chaminade University men's team finished the tournament in 11th place out of 13 squads with a 601.
Zachary DuBourdieu (Carlsbad, Calif./Sage Creek) was the Silverswords' low scorer at 1-over-par 145.
Cal State San Marcos was declared the team winner with a 566 followed by Simon Fraser which was three shots back.
Via multiple tiebreakers, Cal State Dominguez Hills' Andy Yoon was individual medalist followed by CSUSM's Greg Mouser in second and Holy Names' Luke Dugger in third. All three completed the 36 holes at 8-under.
The Silverswords will next compete at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona, on April 3.
