Reeves Earns All-PacWest Third Team Honors

IRVINE, Calif. – Chaminade University guard Ross Reeves (Orem, Utah/Snow College/Orem HS) on Wednesday was named to the All-Pacific West Conference Men's Basketball Third Team in voting conducted by the conference coaches.
 
The 6-foot-4 redshirt sophomore ended the regular season as the conference's No. 4 scorer at 16.7 points per game and tied for fourth in 3-pointers made per game at 2.0. He also finished third in the PacWest in assists per game and led the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.0 while tied with three others for the most steals per game at 2.0.
 
Reeves, last year's PacWest Freshman of the Year, posted 10 20-point outings in the Silverswords' final 14 games including three with 30 or more points. He also had eight games with five or more assists including a career-high 10 against the University of Hawai'i Hilo on Nov. 16.
 
It is the first All-PacWest postseason award for Reeves.
 
Academy of Art's Latrell Williams was named the PacWest Player of the Year as well as the Defender of the Year while Urban Knights' head coach Scott Waterman is the Coach of the Year. The other major award winners were Zach Paulsen of Point Loma as the Newcomer of the Year and Tyce Paulsen of Point Loma the Freshman of the Year.
